Elaborate, Square Enix-style artwork of lesser known villains and side characters from an equally lesser known TV show like "Big Bad Beetleborgs" is just wrong and highly insidious...and on that note, any chance of one featuring good old Ghoulum? ;)

Hahahah even I myself think it's pretty weird that I make fanart out of this series, but whatever makes me happy I might as well just go along with it :)

And of course, I'm planning to paint all of the Hillhurst Monsters, that includes Ghoulum and even some Guest characters ;)

Excellent argument on drawing what makes you happy. But it would also be very cool to see you branch out towards other series...I could only imagine how Itassis (Power Rangers Mystic Force) and Kiokhan (Superhuman Samurai Syber-Squad) would look in your style.

Living statues are always cool characters, especially when their the leads or co-stars, and that's why I liked Ghoulum so much. I also thought it was cool that Saban made him into a real character for Beetleborgs, where as in the Japanese version, he was just a lifeless shell for Noxic to use. And by doing so, they created two giant monsters for the price of one!

I've tried to draw Ghoulum myself, but the lack of photos and episodes haven't helped...looking forward to your rendition whenever you get to it!
